Join the ‘Providence’ sailing crew for a full day out on the water sailing through the Whitsunday Passage to Whitsunday Island. After arriving in Tongue Bay, you will venture ashore and take the famous Hill Inlet walk to the Lookout to view the most photographed views of the Whitsundays. Whilst you are here on the island you will have the opportunity to visit Whitehaven Beach to take in the views, beautiful beach and white sands.
The sailing experience alone is a highlight for many as you gently cruise through the Whitsunday Islands on board this tall ship vessel. The next stop on the itinerary is Dumbbell Island where you can really get your feet wet and jump into the water for a spot of snorkelling. Turtles are common here as well as many other tropical fish of the Great Barrier Reef.
Learn the basics of sailing and help hoist the sail as you cruise back to Airlie Beach feasting on a delicious fruit or cheese platter. Morning tea and lunch is also catered for on this full day cruise.
